If you had a dollar bill, where would you put it? In your shoes or under a mattress? Bad move. You should put it in the bank, and First National Bank and Trust thinks it should be theirs. I created these two animated spots to help them state their case in a fun and playfully informative way. One lives on the web, and the other lives in your TV (if your TV happens to live in the Southern Wisconsin / North Central Illinois area.)

Brand animation created for the video game designers at Robomodo, appearing before the start of Tony Hawk SHRED. Once again, Robo’s direction was to create something light-hearted and fun, a departure from the dark and techy feel prevailing the video game industry. Foundation combined all of it’s production and post-production capabilities to create this identity bumper. Also, pandas rule.

Style FramesThese are style frames presented for an alternate concept in which Robo becomes enraged after dropping his ice cream on the ground. I’d be pissed too.

Real Complainers Vote is a non-partisan effort to get the word out about voting...and then complaining. Created in collaboration with Third Street Partners and Ray Noland (Aka C.R.O.), this truly mixed-media piece lays it all out on the table. If you want to bitch about it, you better vote first. Join the cause at Real Complainers Vote.

Created with TakePart.com as a compliment to their forthcoming environmental documentary "Last Call At The Oasis" which touches on the fresh water crisis already evident in our world today. The piece promotes awareness for the costs of hidden or "embedded" water in the things that compose our everyday lives, and it provides a call to action for how you can start conserving water in all of the obvious places first.

Title sequence created for a documentary about Mies Van Der Rohe’s “McCormick House”, commissioned by Elmhurst Art Museum (Elmhurst, IL). Drawing inspiration from the Bauhuas and modernist design of the Mid-Century, this visual narrative illustrates how Mies’ design for 860-880 Lakeshore Drive apartments became the foundation for Robert H. McCormick’s historic private residence.

"How A Virus Changes The World" is a mock PSA created in conjunction with the release of Steven Soderbergh's “Contagion” (2011) for TakePart.com. This two minute meme-tastic visual essay explains how a virus such as influenza can become a pandemic, and the practical ways in which we can prevent the spread of infectious diseases. Basically, it’s a viral that we want to go viral about a virus that we hope won't go all viral. Get your head around that one.

Robo’s direction was to create something light-hearted and fun, a departure from the dark and techy feel prevailing the video game industry. This mixed-media approach combines traditional stop-motion elements with 2D & 3D graphics.
